WHAT IF I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE IN TEACHING DANCE ?
You are the person this program was designed for. For the MOVING Section, the dances are
clearly explained in the guide book. Thirty of them have a quick walk
thru on the CDs to remind the dancers of the step sequences and 30 of
them are cued.
For the GROOVING
Section,
you just need to play the appropriate track on the CD or the Flash
Drive and you are off dancing! Twenty-nine complete teaching
sessions
and 43 called square dances are included for your dancing pleasure.

WHAT IF MY CLASS HAS AN UNEVEN NUMBER OF BOYS & GIRLS ?
WHAT IF THE BOYS & GIRLS WON’T DANCE WITH EACH OTHER ?
Don't fight it ! That's what this program is designed for. The
dancers are not referred to by gender. Instead, the left hand dancer is
a “1” and the right hand dancer is a “2”.
While boy/girl pairings are desirable, it is quite okay if the boys all decide to dance together and the girls do the same.
|
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE BENEFITS OF GROUP DANCING ?
• a painless way to get exercise
• fosters teamwork, cooperation and respect for others.
• builds self confidence
• improves social skills
• improves coordination and spatial abilities
• helps to strengthen weight-bearing bones
• a happy stress reliever
